Animal Power: Images in Contemporary Inuit Art

The Marion Scott Gallery is pleased to announce Animal Power: Images in Contemporary Inuit Art, a group exhibition that explores the use of animal imagery by Inuit artists from across the Canadian Arctic.  With examples dating from the early 1950s through to the present, Animal Power will reveal the extraordinary diversity of artistic approaches and expressive sensibilities that has characterized Inuit art in the modern period.
