Marion Scott Gallery is excited to announce that we will be participating in this year’s edition of Art Toronto, Canada’s premiere contemporary art fair. As in the past, our booth will feature a dynamic presentation of classic and contemporary Inuit art from the Canadian Arctic. With a focus on portraits and images of the land, our presentation will include works by artists working in a diverse array of media, including sculpture, drawing, painting, prints, installation and photography. And, in a departure from the past, we will also be presenting works by contemporary Indigenous artists from other parts of Canada.
Featured artists will include Shuvinai Ashoona, Tarralik Duffy, Elisapee Ishulutaq, Janet Kigusiuq, Megan Kyak-Monteith, Lindsay McIntyre, Jamasee Pitseolak, Pauta Saila, Nick Sikkuark and Laakaaluk Williamson Bathory.
