Bead Work
December 4, 2025 – January 17, 2026
Robert Kardosh Gallery is pleased to announce Bead Work, an exhibition spotlighting the practices of artists whose expressions incorporate beads and beadwork within a diverse range of media and idioms. Featuring images by seven Indigenous artists, the exhibition considers how beads and beading are employed to explore important messages about history, the impacts of colonialism, Indigenous values of resilience and community, beauty and intergenerational connection.
The exhibition, our final presentation of 2025, features works by Barry Ace, Ruth Cuthand, Lindsay McIntyre, Elizabeth Nutaaraaluk, Avis Simeon, Eva Talooki Aliktiluk and Jut-ke-Nay Hazel Wilson.
