Profile : Small Sculptures

Our annual end-of-year profile features small sculptures from across Nunavut and beyond. These modestly scaled works in stone, bone and ivory, many of which are small enough to be held in the palm of one’s hand, exude an intimacy that makes them inviting to touch. The profile includes sculptural representations of people and animals, providing a unique portrait of northern life.
