Tony Anguhalluq: Life on the Land
The Marion Scott Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of recent works on paper by Baker Lake’s Tony Anguhalluq. The second in a series of two back-to-back exhibitions focussing on artists from Baker Lake (Qamanittuaq), Tony Anguhalluq: Life On the Land will comprise 26 drawings produced in 2017. The artist’s first solo exhibition in four years, Anguhalluq’s mixed media works detail the ancestral and contemporary traditions of the Utkusiksalingmiut, the inland dwelling people to whom he belongs.
