Screening: Ever Deadly

Ever Deadly, an award-winning film by Tanya Tagaq and Chelsea McMullan, returns to the Vancouver International Film Festival for a weeklong series of screenings to mark its official release. The film sheds an immersive light on Tagaq’s innovative practice, which combines performance and throat singing with poetry and fiction. The film also features drawings by MSG artist Shuvinai Ashoona and includes an appearance by Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory.

The screening on Saturday, January 21 will include a Zoom Q&A with Tanya Tagaq and Chelsea McMullen.
