Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory & Jamie Griffiths at SAW

Timiga, Nunalu, Sikulu (“My Body, the Land, and the Ice”), a 2018 video installation by Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory produced in collaboration with Iqaluit-based digital artist Jamie Griffiths, is featured in the exhibition “Shows of Solidarity: 50 Years of Video and Performance at SAW” at the SAW Gallery in Ottawa. The exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of the artist-run gallery and showcases art and ephemera from over 100 regional, Canadian and international artists who have made their mark throughout the centre’s enthralling history.

Timiga, Nunalu, Sikulu is also currently on view at Marion Scott Gallery until May 13 as part of the exhibition Land, Ice, Cosmos.
