Megan Kyak-Monteith Featured in Inuit Art Quarterly

February 2, 2021

Megan Kyak-Monteith’s paintings are the subject of a feature article in the Winter 2020 issue of the Inuit Art Quarterly. In the article, author Tarralik Duffy takes a close look at Kyak-Monteith’s contemporary painting practice, noting that the Halifax-based artist’s works explore themes of personal and family history within a context of broader issues having to do with the function of memory and cultural displacement.
