Shuvinai Ashoona at ICA Miami

December 21, 2021

Drawings by Shuvinai Ashoona, R.C.A., are featured in a solo exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami. Ashoona’s first museum exhibition in the US, Shuvinai Ashoona: Drawings brings together a series of enigmatic works on paper that showcase the award-winning artist’s singular vision and technique. The drawings incorporate imagery from popular imagery and horror films, Biblical references, traditional Inuit motifs and perspectives that can be associated with satellites and other machines. The exhibition runs until May 1, 2022.
