Shuvinai Ashoona Awarded Special Mention at the Venice Biennale

Shuvinai Ashoona has been awarded a special mention during the Awards Ceremony and Opening of the Venice Biennale at Ca’ Giustinian, Venice. Ashoona’s works are featured in The Milk of Dreams, part of the 59th International Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. Ashoona is the third Inuk artist in history to have their work showcased at the prestigious international art event, after Isuma (2019) and Kananginak Pootoogook (2017).
