Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory and Taqralik Partridge are featured in Towards Home, on view at Montreal’s Canadian Centre for Architecture until March 26. The collaborative 2022 installation, a two-channel video entitled Inissaliortut: Making Room, features a dialogue between the artists as they reflect on colonialism in northern communities and its relation to the built environment. The exhibition also features works by Inuk artists asinnajaq, Tuumasi Kudluk and Shuvinai Ashoona.
