Join Kún Jáad Dana Simeon for a special tour of I Use My Haida Eyes: The History Robes of Jut-ke-Nay Hazel Wilson, currently on view at the Museum of Anthropology.
As the daughter of Jut-ke-Nay (Hazel Wilson), Dana Simeon will share personal stories and insights into the creation of Wilson’s remarkable series of 51 history robes, which recount episodes of Haida history from a Haida perspective. Through her unique connection to the work, Simeon offers visitors a deeper understanding of the teachings, cultural knowledge, and artistic traditions embedded within each piece.
Presented as part of MOA’s Not-Your-Average Tour series, this intimate program invites audiences to engage with the exhibition through the perspective of family, community, and lived experience.
