June 29, 2022

Shuvinai Ashoona’s works are featured in Splendid Isolation, a group exhibition on view at S.M.A.K. in Ghent, Belgium until September 22. The exhibition examines the relationship between artistic expression and differing modes of cultural and geographical isolation. Inspired by the global pandemic’s lockdowns and their isolating effects, the exhibition explores the theme of connectivity, or its absence, from an international perspective, citing a range of different perspectives and configurations.
