Olympic Torch passes in front of
MSG
16
February 2010
NN
The Olympic Torch was carried in front of the Marion
Scott Gallery early Friday morning on its way to
the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Games.
We managed to take a photograph as torch bearer Cindy
Crapper was cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd.
Featured in MSG's window is Vancouver artist Andrew
Owen's exhibition Brilliant
Cut Excavation, consisting of three
poster hoardings that Owen has harvested and painstakingly
excavated to resemble faceted gemstones.
